Welcome to our brand new location! roam @ The Boot . The Boot Inn is a beautiful traditional public house, with a stunning garden, based in the rural village of Berwick St James in Wiltshire, just 15 minutes from the historic city of Salisbury. We have created a brand new Alfresco Cooking Mecca, where you and your friends can experience a masterclass day of cookery over fire using some of the best platforms on offer.

We are so proud to be using brands such as: Big Green Egg, the original and, in our opinion, still the best Kamado grill on the market. Somerset Grill, British made at its best, to allow wood fired cookery and versatility like nothing else. OFYR, the ultimate theatrical platform for entertaining friends and family and Alfa Forni, perfect for Pizzas, as well as so many other incredible dishes.

We also offer Classic kettle BBQ, Smokers, Gas, Pellet smokers, Fire pits and traditional Asado cookery.

Wow! What a fabulous day. We’ve been on loads of different cookery courses from regional cuisines to high end, but this was the best by absolutely miles. We came all the way from Manchester but it was worth it and we are already planning on going back in the future to develop our learning. 

Ross and the team were brilliant on so many levels; lovely welcome, incredible food and drinks throughout and loads of patient, practical help. Nothing was too much trouble. We learned a huge amount right from the start re. preparation, fuel, lighting etc. But the food was out of this world and really helped us to understand the potential of our Big Green Egg and how we could be using it. We’re so glad we did this course, I think it is vital if you have a Big Green Egg and you are just using it as an expensive BBQ (as we were!). Cannot recommend highly enough.
